PUL-E-KHUMRI, Afghanistan, Nov. 12 (Xinhua) -- Units of Afghan Special Force have killed 13 armed militants during overnight operations against Taliban outfit in Dand-e-Ghori area outside Pul-e-Khumri, the capital of the northern Baghlan province, Abdul Ghafar Nuristani, the spokesman for the Special Force, said Tuesday.

Three more militants sustained injuries and their hideout have been destroyed during the operations backed by fighting aircraft, the official said.

Taliban militants who are in control of major parts of Dand-e-Ghori and the neighboring Dand-e-Shahabudin district over the past couple of years have not commented on the report.
