WINDHOEK, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- A tiff between the Namibia Premier League (NPL) and the Namibia Football Association's FIFA appointed normalization committee reached fever pitch on Friday with the two parties failing to agree on how Namibian soccer league should be run.

An ordinary annual general meeting of the Namibia Premier League agreed to temporarily rejected the NFA Normalization Committee's directive to promote tow clubs, Orlando Pirates and Civics Football clubs a move that left the the two back out of the top league of the country.

The Namibia Premier League has been on hold over misunderstandings between NFA and NPL.

NPL CEO Harald Fuelle, said the meeting required members to submit proposals to amend the constitution to allow the relegated teams back but the 13 members of the NPL did not submit any proposals, escalating the situation in the process.

The NPL will only know the new relaxation and promotion rules at their next meeting in November.
