JAKARTA, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Indonesian archery association was upbeat to secure three gold medals at the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines later this year, secretary general of the association Riza Barnadi said on Monday.

"We are optimistic to meet our target of 3 golds. Still, we will pursue 5 (gold medals)," Barnadi said.

The official disclosed that the association will send 16 archers to the regional sport event which is slated to be held from November 30 to December 11.

In preparation, he said that the athletes had carried out a learning camp in South Korea.

"They will undergo a learning camp here in Jakarta until the commencement of the SEA Games," he said.
