The performance is staged to introduce the charming art of Kunqu Opera, one of China's oldest forms of opera that was placed on UNESCO's list of Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2001.

THE HAGUE, Sept. 20, 2019 (Xinhua) -- Chinese and Dutch artists collaborate to perform the scene "A Surprising Dream" of Chinese Kunqu opera masterpiece "The Peony Pavilion" (youth edition) at the Zuiderstrand Theater in The Hague, the Netherlands.
