Chen Qifa, resident of Longhua community in Huangpu District of Shanghai, is a volunteer for rubbish classification at the Wuliqiao neighborhood. Having worked as a cleaner for ten years, Chen is familiar with how to deal with rubbish. Since Shanghai implemented regulations on rubbish classification on July 1, 2019, Chen joined the volunteer group of Wuliqiao neighborhood and helped local residents on relative problems. He also invented a device to separate dry refuse and wet trash, which largely improved the accurate rate of rubbish classification in the community. (Xinhua/Fang Zhe)
