KUNMING, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Belgrade FK Zvezdara of Serbia beated Sichuan Jiuniu from China 1-0 in the semifinal of the 2018 Belt and Road Colourful Yunnan International Football Tournament here on Friday.

Jiuniu had a few chances in the starting 20 minutes, and despite playing aggressively failed to get scoring chances in the first half.

In the second half, Serbia's Zeljko Grujicic opened the scoring in the 64th minute with a header off a right kick. While Jiuniu fought hard to get the score, no goal was forthcoming. The only goal helped the Serbian side get a semifinal win.

In another semifinal, Thailand Chonburi defeated Uzbekistan Nurafshon Inter 6-4. Chonburi will meet Belgrade FK Zvezdara in the final on Sunday.

The 2018 Belt and Road tournament, running from December 8 to 16, features eight clubs from five countries.
